Originally from Santa Monica, California, I grew up caring for dogs, reptiles, fish, and the occasional pocket pet. After getting my first job working as a receptionist in a veterinary clinic, there was no doubt what I would end up doing for my profession. I went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Once I graduated from Colorado State University with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, I showed an interest in the human-animal bond, pain management, and preventative medicine. In my free time, I love to go hiking, camping or swimming with my rescued American Pit Bull Terrier mix, Cookie. I also enjoy spending time with family and catching up with friends over a good meal. I am thrilled to be part of such a talented team and excited to care for your four-legged family member.
